He was the one who gave us DIL CHAHTA HAI, the first true film about urban youth freindship, he gave us LAKSHYA, the film with the ultimate question 'main aisa kyun hun?' and now Farhan delivers once again as the urbane carefree but emotional Aditya Shroff in ROCK ON ,this time in front of the camera.His debut film FAKIR still to be released in india is being loved all over and in ROCK ON he proves once again his talent. The film is the story of a rock band,another first,and their lives.Somewhere ,someplace, at sometime in our lives all of us wanted to play a guitar or beat a drum or even sizzle with the mike. The film touches that spot in our hearts.The carefree lead singer and later a investment banker Aditya is surely one of us. One of us who gets a chance to relive his dreams unlike us,and in his chance is our salvation.
Farhaan also debuts as a singer with this film and surprisingly does great. The songs are first of their kind and Farhan's voice suits them to the 'T'. the college goers are gonna love them and also people who deamt of being the next rockstars in college.
Farhan also acts in sister Zoya's LUCK BY CHANCE with Hrithik and is directing VOICE FROM THE SKY. way to go, FARHAN .
