मित्रों नमस्कार
मैं आपको बता दूँ कि संकल्प जी का एक और पत्र मिला है मुझे। उन्होंने अपने कुतर्कों से फ़िर कुछ सवाल खड़े किए हैं। उन्होंने मुझसे राम-सेतु के बारे में मेरे राय जानने चाहे हैं। मैं साफ कहता हूँ कि राम-सेतु पूरी तरह से भौगोलिक प्राकृतिक संरचना है। इसका किसी मानव या महा मानव से या देवी-देवता से कोई सम्बन्ध नही है। ये मेरे अपने विचार हैं और इसमे कोई दो राय नहीं कि रामायण एक महाकाव्य है जिसका कोई वातविक प्रमाण उपलब्ध नही है। संकल्प जी आपकी जानकारी के लिए राम-सेतु से जुड़े कुछ वैज्ञानिक पक्ष यहाँ दे रहा हूँ। और मित्रों नीचे संकल्प जी का तीसरा पत्र भी है।
राम-सेतु : कुछ तथ्य
1966 में मिहिर सेन ने दुनिया के 6 सबसे संकरे जलमार्गों को तैर कर पार करने का रिकॉर्ड बनाया था। इनमें श्रीलंकाई समुद्र तट तलाईमन्नार से भारतीय हिस्से धनुषकोडि के बीच का जलमार्ग भी था। हिंद महासागर के इस हिस्से से बड़े जहाज और नौकाएं नहीं गुजर सकते क्योंकि यहां पानी की गहराई मात्र डेढ़ से साढ़े तीन मीटर तक ही है। इसकी तलहटी मायोसीन युग के चूना पत्थर की मोटी तह से बनी है। अंग्रेजों ने इस उथले समुद्री हिस्से को एडम्स ब्रिज नाम दिया और भारतीय हिंदू इसे रामायण में वर्णित राम सेतु के नाम से जानते रहे । आज कोच्चि या पश्चिमी तट से चेन्नई या फिर पूर्वी तट के किसी अन्य बंदरगाह तक जाने के लिए जहाजों को इस उथले जलक्षेत्र की वजह से श्रीलंका का चक्कर काटना पड़ता है। 2,427 करोड़ रूपए की सेतु समुद्रम परियोजना का उद्देश्य पाक खाड़ी से मन्नार की खाड़ी के बीच 44।9 नॉटिकल मील की दूरी का रास्ता तैयार करना है। इससे पश्चिमी और पूर्वी तट के बीच की यात्रा 400 नॉटिकल मील या 21 घंटे तक कम हो जायेगी।

One more letter and one more attempt to hide the real feelings what the blog was originally supposed to convey. Mr. Nadeem, I'm really amazed at your persistence and the kind of language you use to playfully divert the concentration of gullible readers away from your malicious comments. If you were truly Secular in your outlook (something that you claim you are), you wouldn't have posted such controversial blogs in the first place? Also should it be considered a co-incidence, that the same blog contains comments against the treatment of Men and Women in US Army? It is quite easy to make out what you are up to and what's up your mind...
Yes, one of the most important objectives of any faith or religion is to make Human Beings out of man. Every religion preaches love and none teaches hatred. Not even against enemies. But people like Mr. Nadeem, who are ailing with some grudges in their minds and hearts against every religion other than their own, do not believe in this. They find out innovative methods to propogate their own views and opinions.
Mr. Nadeem, I still don't understand, what can be your vested interests in RAM-SETU being not re-constructed??? Why don't you want it to happen??? Probably Mr. Nadeem would be kind enough to enlighten us all on this issue........

आज फ़िर संकल्ड देसाई जी का एक पत्र मिला जिसमे उन्होंने मुझे कुछ नसीहत दी है। मुझे ऐसा लगता है कि संकल्प देसाई जी एक ऐसी मानसिकता वाले आदमी हैं, जो सच्चाई से जान बूझ कर मुँह फेर लेना ही पूर्ण रूप से सच मानते हैं। संकल्प जी मैं यही कहना चाहूँगा कि आप मेरे बारे मी कोई धारणा बनने से पहले मेरे ब्लॉग को पढ़ लें। मैंने अफगानिस्तान और इराक में महिलाओं कि स्थिती पर भी आलेख लिखा है, जहाँ इस्लामी कानून से शासन हो रहा है। मैं किसी धर्म विशेष का विरोध नही कर रहा हूँ, संकल्प जी। इतनी सी बात आपके समझ मे क्यों नही आ रही है। मैं किसी धर्म का विरोधी भी नही हूँ, अरे धर्म टू व्यक्ति को सभ्य बनने का एक मात्र साधन है, फिर हम लोग किसी भी धर्म को कैसे ख़राब सकते हैं। मैं तो सिर्फ़ इसलिए डी एन झा जी का लेख प्रकाशित किया था, क्यूंकि मुझे उसमे कई ऐसी जानकारी मिली जो मैं पहले से नहीं जानता था। मैंने सोचा कि और भी लोग इसे पढ़ें और अपनी राय देन। मुझे ये कहाँ पता था कि आप मुझ पर ही साम्प्रदायिक होने का आरोप मढ़ देंगे? वैसे भी आप जो बातें मुझे बताने कि कोशिश कर रहे हैं, वैसी बातों का कई दशकों से इस देश में भ्रामक प्रचार किया जा रहा है। मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि संकल्प जी जैसे लोग एक न एक दिन भ्रम के तिलस्म को तोड़ कर ज्ञान (gyaan) की सत्ता को स्वीकार करेंगे। बस डर है कि कहीं बहुत देर न हो जाए। वैसे संकल्प जी का लजा पत्र भी इस पोस्ट के साथ प्रकाशित कर रहा हूँ।

Namaskar Mr. Nadeem,
As every literate and educated person (which I am) would understand from the blog, that it has not been written by you. You have merely picked it up from some publication and published it to satisfy your psuedo socialist motive of spreading awareness (read: spreading hatred towards Hindus). I raised my voice NOT against the article but YOUR action to post only that information which has something to do with Hinduism (Ram Setu) and Christianinty (US Army) or probably Indian Hindus and US, as you look at it.
Let me ask you a few questions :-
If you are really so much concerned about the plight of women in the world, then why don't you post blogs which bring out the reality about the condition of women in ISLAMIC countries. Aren't you aware of child marriages in Afghanistan, where a 12 yr old girl is married to a 56 yr old groom. Haven't you heard of Mercy Killings and the famous Mukhataran Mai case in Pakistan. Please enlighten all of us including yourself by posting such blogs on your site. Click here to come face to face with Islam -
During partition, people on both sides were promised that they would be allowed to follow their chosen faith. Hindu India has kept up its promise, but look at what Islamic Pakistan has done. Haven't you ever come across any news article which says that many Hindu Temples are in a very bad state in Pakistan. Hindus in that country are not even allowed to go to the temples and pray to their diety. I request all of you to please, please look at this posts....
Mr. Nadeem Akhtar, I, a proud Hindu of the most tolerant country of the world, request you not to spread more hatred against any community whatsoever. If you really want to spread awareness among some issues that you feel need social attention, you must look at it not from any communal angle. LEARN TO SPEAK THE TRUTH. If Islamic women are being treated like animals in almost all Islamic countries, there's no point of advocating human rights for women in the US Army!!!

आज सुबह मुझे एक मेल मिला जिसमे मुझे बहुत सारे सुभ्वाचानो से नवाजा गया है.
कारण यह है कि इस ब्लॉग में कल ही मैंने एक पोस्ट किया है जो इतिहास से
संबंधित है. सबसे पहले मैं ये बता दूँ की ये लेख मेरा नही है, बल्कि प्रख्यात
इतिहासकार डी एन झा का लिखा हुआ है. मुझे यह इतिहास के सन्दर्भ में कुछ नयी
जानकारी देने वाला और एक नयी बहस का रास्ता खोलने वाला लगा, इसलिए मैंने इसे
अपने ब्लॉग में जगह दी. मैंने इसमे साफ-साफ लिख दिया कि यह लेख रविवार.कॉम से
साभार लिया गया है, फिर भी एक साहब संकल्प देसाई जी को मेरा इसे प्रकाशित करना
शायद ठीक नही लगा. खैर, उन्होंने मुझे जो नसीहत, सलाह और इज्ज़त दी है, उसे मैं
आप सभी के साथ बांटना चाहता हूँ. और आपकी भी राय जानना चाहता हूँ कि आख़िर किस
हद तक पूर्वाग्रह से ग्रसित हो कर समाज को आगे बढाया जा सकता है. जिस लेख पर
आपत्ती है, वो नीचे है. मैं आग्रह करूंगा कि मुझे जो पत्र संकल्प देसाई जी ने
भेजा है, वो पढ़ने से पहले मूल आलेख, जो झा जी का है वो जरूर पढ़ लें. वैसे मैं

Mr. Nadeem Akhtar,I think you should limit your intelligence to your fraud religion
which preaches something else and practices something totally
different. Also the product of your religion, samples like you are so
rude and idiotic, that they don't even care to respect other Gods, as
in this article you didn't care to write Shri Ram or Bhagwan Shri RAM,
but instead wrote the name only. I want to bring this to your notice
that you illiterate bastards should atleast learn some decency and
only then should take to writing.
I don't think that you people would ever understand any thing that's
good, hence i'm not expecting any correction or improvement in your
language. But if you want to live in India, then do so.........
And first go and check the authenticity of Mecca and Madina..........
there are cent percent chances that they too would be fraudulent just
as your community........
